Bruno Leopoldo Francesco Sammartino (born October 6, 1935) is an Italian-American former skilled wrestler, best identified for being the longest-running champion of the World Extensive Wrestling Federation (WWWF), holding the title throughout two reigns for over eleven years in whole, as nicely as the longest single WWE Championship reign in males's skilled wrestling history.
Sammartino's wrestling style was extra mat-oriented which was typical of wrestlers from his era.
